Romney Uncensored
"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax. Romney went on: "[M]y job is is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

The Death of the English Language
KID: "Do you believe in Evolution?"
RICK PERRY: "It's a theory that's out there. It's got some gaps in it. In Texas we teach both creationism and evolution....You know, 'cos I figure you're smart enough to figure out which one's right." [WINK]
And, the death of Republican public servants interested in governing.

Palin & Breitbart's Alternative Reality
This posting from Crooks & Liars should keep every Wisconsin leftist agitated and active until we've recalled all Republicans in the state, especially Scott Walker.

Charter School Riddles
Susie Madrak asks (what more should be asking), "If charter schools are great, why are they riddled with fraud? Why don't they produce better results?"

How Jobs Are Lost
As Jon Perr makes clear, the last thing we need is more politicians that want to run government like a business.
"Ten years ago, George W. Bush was sworn in as America's first MBA President. Now, Mitt Romney wants to be the second. Two years after President Bush completed the worst economic record since Herbert Hoover, Romney the perpetual White House hopeful declared, "I spent my career in the private sector. I know how jobs are created and how jobs are lost." Especially, it turns out, the part about how jobs are lost."

Never Too Young To Earn A Living
I finished off a thought with it as a joke in a previous post.
But it appears some Republicans are actually considering eliminating child labor law restrictions.

Cutting Is Completely Wrong
"I would argue that we don't have a budget crisis. We have a refusal to levy adequate taxation on those that can afford it "crisis" created by our politicians who refuse to raise taxes on the rich at at time in our history that resembles the Gilded Age with income disparity. As Sachs noted, we're going after discretionary spending which hits in is words, science, education, technology, and energy and he's exactly right on how our approach to what we should be cutting is completely wrong." We're Closed!
With Republicans in charge, is this even America anymore? [h/t Crooks & Liars]
It is obvious they don't care for everyday citizens and workers. They won't even let them in the door.
