Then they are outraged and their personal freedom is being infringed. 

Yes, to keep the NRA happy, so any dipshit can carry and own a gun, the population at large must capitulate to enhanced security measures, but Republicans legislators feel they should be exempt from such disruptions.

Republicans are truly terrible people (and I use the term "people" loosely).

So here's the deal for all the anti-science, racist, misogynistic, road-blocking, gun-totting, know-nothing, taunting, harassing, hate-spewing, douchebag Trump supporters and voters ... go fuck yourselves!

Now, to live up to all the bullshit you emit into the world, to uphold your anti-socialism blather, your anti-government rhetoric: 

stop relying on police and fire fighters

refuse Medicare and Social Security 

stop driving on the roads

stop using trains and airports

pull your children out of public schools

stop collecting your farm subsidies

stop using food stamps 

don't you dare set foot in a public museum, a public park or a zoo

plow your own roads

clear your own sewage

light your own streets

Republicans propose giving finance committee the power to cut school aid, slash spending as part of coronavirus relief bill

So after Wisconsin Republicans irresponsibly made people go to the polls to vote during a pandemic, now they are trying to use the pandemic to slash school budgets and cut state spending. Well, at least cut state spending on programs that they don't care about.

Wisconsin's number two douchebag, second only to Robin Vos, Scott Fitzgerald had this to say:

"For almost a month we have been at work on a bill that includes essential provisions dealing with everything from Medicaid to the first week of unemployment," Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, said in a statement. "Millions of relief dollars are at stake for Wisconsin. Suggesting he’ll veto the full bill publicly, while privately we’re still negotiating, is irresponsible.

Um, no. Using a global pandemic to advance your partisan stranglehold and crony policies is a travesty.

Republicans want:

The power they are seeking is vast. It would allow them to reduce aid to schools, local governments and University of Wisconsin campuses. They could also scale back programs aimed at helping the poor and those who have trouble getting health-care coverage.

Robin Vos, Scott Fitzgerald, Wisconsin Supreme Court conservatives, and their ilk are terrible human beings. And I use the word 'human' lightly. Fuck that hazmat suit wearing dipshit and his know-nothing enablers.

Enough is enough with Republicans using the government as their personal piggy-bank to reward themselves and their cronies. Enough putting their contributors before the people they are supposed to represent. Enough with putting corporate life ahead of actual human life. 

This is no longer a spirited debate among civil, reasonably thinking people. Republicans are nothing more than apparatchiks doing the bidding of their paymasters with no concern for the citizens.

The Republican party is a joke. Individuals identifying themselves as Republicans are a joke.

[Aside: Obviously the male Republican senators are also douchebags. Probably, in general, even bigger douchebags than the female Republican senators. But when it's your own gender and you fold under to benefit Donald Trump (pussy grabber in chief), there's no excuse.]

Susan Collins: Just Another Republican Partisan Hack

Susan Collins's Kavanaugh speech diagnoses America's deepening division

The Maine Republican said that while she found the woman who accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault at a high school party in 1982, Christine Blasey Ford, to be “sincere” and “compelling,” she did not feel Ford’s testimony rose above the threshold of being “more likely than not.”

So, Susan Collins decided that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford was just making things up. She concluded that it was more likely that Dr. Ford was mistaken, confused or just fabricating her story.

History, and hopefully voters, will remember Susan Collins's betrayal of her duties as a senator and as a human. Although, one has to question what kind of human Susan Collins is. After hearing Ford's testimony and all the corroborating accounts from others who know Kavanaugh, to claim the testimony did not rise above the threshold of being “more likely than not” is completely unfathomable.

Shame on you, Susan Collins. You're a disgrace.

With the sham that has been the latest Supreme Court Justice appointment, it's amazing that the Democrats can even look their Republican counterparts in the eyes.

The Republicans are the most hypocritical, vile, shameless, treasonous, power-hungry and corrupt bunch of douchebags America has ever seen. They don't care about justice, workers' rights, education, health care or any of the other day-to-day concerns of the majority of Americans.

How are these liars and idiots considered sensible or honorable public servants?
